Do you struggle with getting your kids to do chores, eat healthy, or unplug once in a while? My Attitude Journal was created for a 6-year-old who wanted to play and watch movies all summer long. At the end of two weeks – using her “Adatode” book - she discovered that taking care of her body, her mind, her heart and her spirit filled her with happiness. Through this mental and emotional wellness tool, parents and children (of all ages) ease into emotional regulation and emotional resilience as a family.
This workshop is designed for parents, guardians, caregivers of children 8 years and older.
Created over ten years ago - having integrated it into her graduate work - Kimber Leigh Kara, MEd, has been using the Adatod (Attitude) Book fostering health and wellness in children of all ages. This journal has been used as the foundation of Let Go of Exhaustion, Increase Your Vitality and Filling My Own Cup, and The Gift of Time: each focusing on individual needs of participants. The difference is that this workshop goes back to its roots as a family-centered activity.
